I have published two books (one by me and one ghost-written in the 90s), and at least a hundred articles in national and regional magazines (mostly in the 80s). Two separate publishers did not honor two other publishing contracts. In all that time, I have never had a writer's mentor. Next year I will be 63. I feel too much like an aging Lone Ranger without a Tonto.
