Tanis Mallow said… Hi Mary, Welcome aboard!
Love your premise. And love to hear from other sailors. My current WIP has a sailing theme. Will check out your site.
Keep in touch.

I read the reviews on your blog, and I really liked the theme of your book!
John Kremer is a vast container of book promotion knowledge, and he shares much of this wealth of knowledge on his website.
As far as the book promotion industry being complex, I feel that you already have a good start with your reviews, and your blogs. Steve Harrison's companies specialize in book and author promotions--Radio and Television Interview Report--is sent to thousands of booking producers. Stormi, a PR woman who's a member on this site can give you lots of insight. Call me and I'll give you some other connections. 561-714-4737
And finally, thanks for your compliment on my Mimosa Writing! I'm only drinking Spiced Apple Cider today, so I'm not as sharp as usual.
Al Mascareñas said… Mary, I hadn't forgotten your interest in foreign rights. I found this article in a google search ("foreign rights agent") and thought you would like it. You may have already seen it, but I thought it was encouraging and wanted to share it with you.

Al Mascareñas said… Hi Mary,
Thank you for being my friend. I forget whose song that is and feel like I'd be cheating if I googled it. That is how I learned what little I know about foreign rights - I googled "foreign rights". I'm not very creative, but it worked and there is a plethora bunch of information on lots of sites. Let's stay in touch. In the next few days I'm starting the process and should know a lot more than I do now. Al
