Every year during the holiday season, I watched as my dad seemed to get seriously depressed. I find if I’m not careful, the same thing can happen to me. Or at least I can fall into a state of general unhappiness.
I find myself taking an inventory of the past year, and telling myself that I'm not where I should be. Basically, I do a lot of self-pummeling. I complain about the bad decisions I’ve made. I think about how life would be better if I would only have chosen…

I got to pick two versions, and I also made suggestions. Any of the three versions would have been ok with me. The book comes out in digital form in October and paperback in November.
