The acid test
Please visit my site for a more complete profile. You can also follow my occasional ramblings on my blog as well as my sometimes acerbic comments on various other fora, particularly publishing-related LinkedIn groups.
I'm happy to accept referrals from agents for whipping a ms. into shape for an author. I will also take on editing assignments from publishers. Mostly, I serve independent publishers—authors willing to take on the role of publisher for their own books—and companies in need of custom publishing services. Independent publishing is often a good option, particularly for nonfiction books with a niche market, but I'm glad to provide services to traditional publishers as well.
