Betsy McMillan commented on jeff herman's blog post WHY IS NO ONE ANSWERING ME?In addition to full-time writing/editing responsibilities at a pharmaceutical research organization where I’m the head writer and editor, I’ve been a freelance commercial writer for a Detroit advertising agency, creating product manuals, showroom catalogues and voice scripts for General Motors.
I’ve authored four non-fiction books with a fifth book currently seeking a publishing home. Several novels are lingering on my hard drive in various stages of completion. I tend to blog (The Fractured Anecdote) only when I’ve got something to say, which varies from daily to monthly.
I’ve been a featured speaker for several organizations including the National Writers Union, the American Association of University Women and the American Business Women’s Association. I also sing professionally, and I’m always interested in providing musical vocals or voiceovers.
Some might describe me as a queen of multi-tasking, and I wish I could learn to say “no” more often. Really I’m just a writer who wants to share the market with the J.K. Rowlings and Stephen Kings of the book world without losing my mind in the process!
