The artists life is never boring, though moments are.

Comment by Steven Paul Hawke on July 9, 2012 at 5:23pm I am a painter. Art is evaluated by using measures and weights. The first is elloquence. how well the subject is covered? How artfully it has been developed and how successful the artist has been at conveying his or her vision. There in lies my weaknes. The second measure rests in the weight. How iprtant is the subject? There-in lies my strength. There are few people on earth that will resist looking at the work. Some are sure to view it filled with hope and faith. Others are sure to view it with a skeptic's eye. I encourage both. It is a project that has taken years to develope and while it is complex, it is not complicated.
Comment by Glenda J. Findley on July 8, 2012 at 5:29pm Greetings ... I visited your website to see some of your art. I haven't read any of your writing, but if it is better than your posted painting, then you are a very talented indeed.
Comment by Steven Paul Hawke on July 8, 2012 at 1:42pm I am new here and trying to find my way about. Sadly, I am more writer than painter, though I do have a couple of books out and now one that is actually worth reading. I will be taking a trail ride across all forty-eight states (I know there are fifty) ...now back to the sentence at hand... this November. I leave Florida, head East, then West. http://atrailride.com
