The year of 2012 is going to be an amazing year - those of us involved in writing books linked to the spiritual or paranormal will be offer a tremendous service - I have seen via my invisible friends suggestions for 3 new books we hope to offer this year - unfortunately although very tough to find a publisher (unless other members here have some suggestion) for a printed version - we move forward with an e-book form as e-book readers and tablets grow exponently

Quiniece, no apologies necessary. We have the event feature for people to promote their stuff and the blog for people to share their thoughts. This is all a kind of marketing but we have it set up for relationship building. The friendships and networking opportunities you will find here will help you in your writing career. I saw you posted about a blog book tour. I will do some research for you. I know other writers have done them so I look forward to their answers. Blessings in your  work. It is obvious you have a great passion for it. It would be great if you share some of your marketing ideas in the book promotions group. There are many people starting out who need some input. Thank you.

Quiniece, while we don't mind people promoting themselves on the site, you might want to set yourself up on an event next time. We want people to discuss things in the groups. For example, you can create relationships here where people will know what you teach and then they will have more reason to attend your teleconference. Provide some content through a blog or start a discussion on the board. Your comments have been advertisements for your teleconference but we don't know much about you. Let us know you.

No Joan, you can be part of both groups. You don't have to choose. I just thought you would enjoy the discussions going on there too. Happy birthday by the way. You can also put up blog posts with excerpts of you book. You have an easy to navigate blog feature on your personal page. Enjoy as many groups as you would like.
