How does he know he didn't fear the time before birth?

*snickers* Dunno, but at this stage of my life I don't  worry about what comes after death because it's out of my control, and I certainly don't care what happened before life. Even if I lived in another form and was reborn to accomplish something more in this life, this life is the only one that matters at the moment.

Ouch, my head hurts from thinking too much:)

I'm sorry to be difficult, but what if none of it is out of your control? What if the process of becoming dead sucks? Borning doesn't look like much fun for the kid.

lol.. I'm sure the process sucks. I can only hope for a swift or painless death.

How can it not be out of your control? As far as I know, no one (body) is immortal. Maybe we move into a spiritual plane, maybe not, but death is going to come eventually.

There are a lot of good Appalachian folk songs about dying and asking Death for more life. You should have a listen. They're very depressing:)

Well, being "conceived" could be similar to interviewing for a job or maybe it's probation, or maybe our souls are somehow abducted by the lucky sperm. Re death, I don't know but I feel that each of us has something to say about our process. Eating bacon three times a day is statement. I prefer to believe in a collaborative and mutually beneficial methods, as opposed to repressive dictates.
