DOES "SPIRIT" ALREADY KNOW WHO WINS THE PRESEIDENTIAL ELECTION?

If yes, then are we puppets in a game? If no, then do we really get to write our future?

Ahhhh I love your discussion topics! Yes, the results of the election are already written in the script of Obama, Romney and the script for America and Mother Earth. Are we puppets? only if we remain unconscious and do not recognize that as a soul or Atma, a spark of Divinity we participated in writing these scripts. In particular we co-created our personal soul script......This makes us powerful, not puppets. This means that we chose, along with divinity, every single experience we are having in this life and all the other ones we have lived or will live in the future!

Can we re-write our pesonal soul script? Yes, but only if we become fully conscious and actively co-create with Divinity a new one. Our personal soul script is woven in with the scripts of other human beings, the whole human race, the earth, the solarsystem, the animal kingdom, vegetable kingdom, the mineral kingdom, the angelic kingdom......Can you see with your third eye, your inner vision.... what changing your personal script will do to some of these other beings and kingdoms?? Until we can see the Whole and how it works together we have no right to be messing with our personal scripts.....our changes would probably be fairly selfish and at the very least ignorant and uninformed.

This is a very interesting question, especially during this exciting election season. Much of the answer one gives boils down to that person's basic beliefs about the future and whether it somehow already exists for "Spirit" (i.e. the Divine, God) or whether it somehow doesn't exist yet.

My personal belief is that the future has not yet happened in the same way that this present moment is happening and that past moments have happened. The quality of "realness" that this present moment possesses, and that past moments have possessed, is not shared by moments that have not happened yet. One way to get an idea of the uniqueness of what happens during each moment of now is to realize that during such moments every atom is in a particular place in the universe, and is moving in a particular direction at a particular velocity. We can think of each moment of now as having its own unique recipe of moving particles in space. Moments in the future have not occured yet because the recipe of atoms traveling through the universe now have not yet traveled to their future destinations to form their own unique recipes of atoms. It is easier to say this with certainty about this dimension in which we find ourselves than it is to say it about "other-worldly" dimensions. But I am of the mind to say that future moments haven't yet happened anywhere, not even in the spiritual realm. That's how seriously I hold the uniqueness of this present moment of now to be.

However, that being said, that fact that the future has not happened yet in any dimension does not mean that Spirit does not have a very, very good idea of who will win the presidential election. I would venture to say that the Divine knows the answer to this question at this point in time with something approaching 99% certainty (not to be confused with the 99%). I say this because I believe that the mind of God penetrates into the deepest depths of every person's heart and mind. The Divine knows the directions that those hearts and minds are going in. God knows Obama's mind and abilities, and knows if he is going to do a better job debating Romney in the second and third debates than he did during the first. The Divine knows if Biden will be able to debate at all!

With all of the divine knowledge of everyone's state of mind God has at his, at her disposal, I do believe that at this point God knows with what could be100% certainty who will win the election. But I can't say that Spirit knows with absolute certainty who will win, and the reason I can't say that is because I believe the election hasn't happened yet -- in any dimension -- and that this fact could somehow have an affect on God's certainty about its outcome.

In comparison....my belief is that Divinity, which breathes out and breathes in the Cosmic play at regular intervals....has breathed out the cosmic play we are part of currently, all at once and simultaneously....past present and future. This huge multifaceted Divine out-breathing, is called by the ancient Rishis...the Manvantara. This Cosmic outbreathing is spread across a canvas made of the space time continuum for us, as human beings, to observe and to play out the roles we co-created with Divinity.

This is a concept that is very hard for us to wrap our minds around...because it is larger than the mind and contains the mind. Also, getting direct experience of the eternity of the present moment is pretty difficult when we are acting and reacting on a daily basis within the space time continuum.....The only direct experience I have had of the eternity of the now is during deep one pointed concentration...when time disappears. This type of experience does not necessarily happen during "sitting meditation"... though it can. But it can also be experienced when we are "in the flow" when our heart and mind and physical actions are lined up directly with the All.....The Source of the Manvantara....that which is behind and beyond the duality of the space-time continuum on which we play.

There is no future in Spirit or Divinity...because future relies on a linear progression of Past, Present , Future....Spirit is not linear.....Time is a created measuring stick we invented to try to explain eternity to ourselves.

A few days ago I quipped, "The Divine knows if Biden will be able to debate at all!" Well, if it wasn't an absolute certainty before, it is now. Biden can debate, and he did it very well. So did Ryan!

I think the tendency is for Obama to win, but it can be changed by wayward events (like the first debate) and other things. So we are not puppets and have free will and the future is an open book (but with tendencies).

Another way of looking at this is that is to adopt the "everything that can happen does happen" dogma of some of the new physicists. In this scheme, we simply choose the universe we wish to observe. We can choose any universe we wish to observe.

Spirit lives in the present moment.

How could Spirit which lives in the ever-present and evolving Now, know something about a moment that isn't real, i.e. the future?

Terrence, this is basically what I was about to write!

I would add that the "knowing" can be inverted, also, in that the way that we can perceive the event before it occurs is a channeled resource for being. Here's what that means...

When you are in the now, the states of now are the continuous and ever-being way, which means there are channels within which the being and becoming are both simultaneous to one another. This is where a glimpse of the future can be obtained, but it usually comes in metaphor because there are no actual events to reveal.

I still say..."future" implies time and linearity which doesn't exist in the Eternal Spirit....it is man made terminology.

I thought about this in the shower. If we perceive time as a circle, and "now" as a point on the circumference, and accept that there could be infinite overlapping circles of time, then it's conceivable that infinite distinct events are happening in every moment in time. It's not for us to ask: "Who and why would design such a machine?", because we cannot fathom the answer with the brains we are given. Now, my opinion is that we can generate realities. However, because High Spirit is exempt from the material circles and time, It has already seen everything from beginning to end, even though we have not yet caused it to happen. We will choose our president and Spirit already knows the result since time began.There may be a mathematical formula for this, but it might be best not to think about it a whole lot.
