Have you created a book trailer?

Do you think a book trailer is an effective way to get in touch with your readers and reach them more than other traditional methods?

Has anyone created a book trailer to aid with launching their book? If so, what program did you use to create it?

Thanks for your replies, everyone, and thanks for sharing your book trailers. Perhaps one just has to go with one's gut in deciding whether a book trailer is worth doing. I think that even if it doesn't translate to sales or even success, it leads you to the next experience which then does lead to success - I think one should do everything and then some, and success will follow. Having said that, it's likely that my sister and I will be creating a book trailer for Leave No Girl Behind.
