Talaria Press is proud to present our Special Guest for Emerald City Comicon, Aaron Douglas! Join us at Emerald City to meet the man upon whom the character of Sgt. William “Striker” Douglas from Garth Reasby’s Children of Divinity series is based.

Best known for his role of Chief Galen Tyrol on the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica, Aaron has appeared in many movies and television shows over the course of his career, including Smallville and Stargate SG-1 on the small screen and X2: X-Men United in theaters.

In his new project, Hemlock Grove, Aaron plays Sheriff Sworn. Based on the novel of the same name, Hemlock Grove explores the events that unfold after a young girl is brutally murdered and found near the former Godfrey steel mill. As rumors mount, two of the suspects in her killing – Peter Rumancek, a 17-year-old Gypsy trailer trash kid rumored to be a werewolf, and Roman, the heir to the Godfrey estate – decide to find the killer themselves.

Hemlock Grove will premiere April 19th via Netflix’s streaming service which will make all 13 episodes of the first season available at once!

Aaron will be appearing at the Talaria Press table (E-15 in Artist’s Alley) at various times during Saturday and Sunday!

Talaria Press is once more joining forces with Emerald City ComiCon to combat springtime boredom! Come out to the convention, the weekend of March 1-3, 2013, and see us at Table E-15 in Artist’s Alley. We’ll have books on-hand to purchase if you’re missing a key part of your favorite series, or if you’re just curious to see what other offerings we have.

We will also be offering our brand new anthology Once More upon a Time as a free download for your Kindle ereader app or device.
